MGE SMB / Wreck Reel

MGE SMB/Wreck Reel, often a requirement by many dive operations, together with a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), as used in our school because of its robustness and high performance.

Features:

Suitable for left or right handed use without the need for modification.

Suitable for all types of diving with 50 metre line and SMB clip.

The MGE reel is fully serviceable and is lightweight and compact.

Colours usually available: Blue, Orange, Fluorescent Yellow, Pink.

Once you've teamed these pieces together, it is advisable to seek some good instruction and practice deployment in shallow water first, before the need arises in deeper water!

NB: IF YOU DEPLOY YOUR DELAYED SMB DURING A DIVE, IT IS GOOD PRACTICE POST-DIVE TO UNWIND THEN REWIND THE LINE TO ENSURE THERE ARE NO TANGLES/SNAGS WHICH COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS ON THE NEXT USE - look after your kit and it will look after you.
