Wild Seas, Secret Shores of Africa an underwater journey around the
African coast, by Thomas P Peschak
"The images in this book were chosen out of thousands, for their
ability to transport the viewer into the heart of the ocean and to share the
excitement that overtakes me everytime I venture beneath the waves" Each
photograph tells a unique story, unearths a bizarre marine creature or
provides a fresh look at a common subject" Thomas Peschak.
Peschak is a marine biologist and award winning photographer,
and has logged thousands of dives around Africa's coast.
In his role as photojournalist for two of the world's top conservation
organisations WWF-SA and the Save our Seas Foundation he travels widely to
document the state of the world's ocean.
The book covers all major marine habitats from kelp forests and rocky
reefs of the cold seas to the corals reefs and mangrove swamps of tropical
oceans.
OUR OPINION : WOW some amazing photos of just about
everything from shrimps right up to Tiger sharks, Dolphins, Otters, Seals and
Whales. Good to see the technical info on how the images were captured.
