Fourth Element Ocean Positive Hydroskin UPF50 Long Sleeve Rash Vest
The Fourth Element Ocean Positive Hydroskin is a close-fitting rash guard designed to wear under a wetsuit or semi-dry suit for comfort or as a UV shield for other watersport activities. Fourth Element's Ocean Positive Hydroskin range is made using sustainable techno-fabric made with Econyl®, 100% regenerated polyamide fibre from post-consumer materials which, when tested in real life conditions are two times more resistant to chlorine, sun tan creams and oils than other fabrics; these amazing results are achieved thanks to innovative construction and to the presence of LYCRA® XTRA LIFE(TM). Featuring contrast side panels and stitching with a net print on the back.
About Fourth Element Ocean Positive
Originally Fourth Element OceanPositive products were conceived as a result of recycled ghost nets - turned into Econyl® to use in our swimwear and rash guards. We believe, looking to the future, that the issues that surround the destruction of our seas go far beyond just abandoned fishing nets. Being 'OceanPositive' spans from not just what we do in the ocean but also what we do in our everyday lives.
Approximately 1.4 billion pounds of rubbish per year enters our seas. Dumped into our oceans daily, this threatens marine life, pollutes beaches and affects local tourism industries. In several parts of the world including the Gulf of Mexico and the Baltic Sea, depletion of oxygen in the water has created enormous dead zones. Imagine if below the water there was no more coral reef to explore, unique plants are dying out, wildlife is scarce and some cases, becoming extinct.
- Made with Econyl®, 100% regenerated polyamide fibre re-cycled from post-consumer materials
- Fabric construction utlises recycled material including Nylon from abandoned fishing nets
- Greater resistance to chlorine, salt water, oils/lotions due to innovative construction and the presence of LYCRA® XTRA LIFE(TM)
- UV protection UPF50
- Active wear for all water sports
- Eco-friendly packaging
