Orca Women's Open Water Core Swimskin Info
Orca Women's Open Water Core Swimskin is a great option for any open water or wild swimmer who usually prefer swimming in 'skins' but want the benefit of some thermal protection and the added bonus of some additional visibility for safety. The 2-2.5mm Yamamoto neoprene provides great freedom of movement in the water and some protection to cold water. This Core SwimSkin features visible orange panels, flexibility in the shoulders and buoyancy in the torso.
The SwimSkin panel layout provides great comfort and fit and with its high-elasticity materials allows for swimming without restrictions. In addition, the sleeveless and short design allows the suit to be put on and removed with ease.
For more flexibility in all phases of the swim stroke, Yamamoto 39 neoprene is used together with 2 mm Infinityskin high-end lining. This material has high elasticity that allows it to be used in different areas of mid-range wetsuits. This material requires between 45% and 35% less force to stretch than conventional neoprene.
Flatlock stitched seam construction ensures a sturdy and a comfortable finish against the skin. This seam finish is a traditional seam construction used throughout the industry and synonymous with light weight wetsuits. The glide skin neckline sits a little lower to ensure reducing chafing and provides a soft and comfortable seal.
